Positive yesterday, negative today? So confused

Af is due today. I've been having pregnancy symptoms and decided to take a.test yesterday. I used an ic test with fmu and got a faint positive, faint but definately a pink positive line. I took an frer today with fmu and it is negative. Absolutely no line what so ever. My temps are still well above coverline, not sure what is going on. Could yesterdays ic have ben a.false positive? Could I be having another chemical pregnancy? Our should I just wait a few more days and try not to worry?

I'm not sure what an ic test is but the fact that you are due today and no line at all on a frer sounds to me like you're not. Unless you ovulated later than you think you did.

Ic test is an internet cheapy test

Oh ok well I know the dollar store tests are pretty accurate so I would think it would be the same. Sometimes those tests actually detect it sooner so maybe it's just showing up sooner.

I've had that happen too at the dr actually I had a positive at home went to the dr it was negative ! Blood test was pos tho!

I hope so. I think I'm gonna wait it out til monday and then test again if af doesn't show. With my history, I'm a bit scared of being pregnant again, but super excited at the same time.

I know alot of ladies are getting bad batches and getting false +. I had some giving me positive a month before I got pregnant. Got them off amazon.

Thanks mandie. I hope thats not the case, that would such, but I've had these for awhile now and can't remember where I got them. Lol. They don't expire til dec 2013, but its always possible they are wrong.  

I just found out I am pregnant I was 2 days late and with a first response test the line was super light which is weird, but then I took 2 digitals and they were both positive. So maybe you should try that.

What does frer mean?

FRER means First Response Early Response.

I think mandie might be right and it was a false positive. My bbt dropped slightly below cover line today. So I'm sure af will be here soon. I'm really sad now. I was so excited to see that positive, even faintly. Ive spent so long wanting it, I thought it was finally time for us to have another baby.

I can understand your pain. We've also been waiting for our lil miracle. I've been with my husband for 3 years, married for almost a year. We've been talking about having one more baby. I have two children from previous relationship and he has none. He only wants one. We had a mc in 2011 but we have had no luck since. I don't really know for sure what it means for me but I was told I have PCOS by the hospital where I had surgery done last august on a cyst on my right ovary. The doc who did it told me i don't have PCOS but in my chart she put that I do. So I have to wait for my appointment to be mailed so I can go see her. Hopefully she does a complete hormone checkup on me this time and make complete sure whether i have it or not.

So and I lost our daughter at 34 weeks gestation in 2006, since then wer have had another 3 unexpected (on bc) pregnancies and.early miscarriages (2 were technically diagnosed as chemical pregnancies). I've been off bc and we haven't been protecting for 3 years now and it hadn't happened. We aren't really ttc, I chart so I know when to expect af, but we don't plan bd for o time or any of that. We both believe that when the time is right it will happen. But getting a false positive is justheartbreaking.

Looks like the first test was wrong. I started bleeding today.
