Where do you stand? If it were up to my husband I would not be allowed to post any pictures of our child on FB. Of course being the strong willed person that I am, I told him I do what I want. I do keep all of my settings super private but I like to use FB as a way to keep up with my family out of town. I prefer that my friends do not post pictures of my son becuase they may not have the same settings as I do. I do think that people share way too much on FB and post pictures that I dont always feel are appropriate for people outside of your close circle and family. Once a friend of my posted pictures of her new niece when she was born, totally nude....for me, I thought that crossed a line. How do you use facebook?

mine is private, but, what's gonna happen if someone sees pictures of my kids? some perv is gonna jerk it to my toddler playing with play doh?

I am not paranoid. Pervs are going to look at pics of kids if they are fully clothed or naked. My sons are safe at home with me. I don't care where I post their pics. It's just a picture.

When DD was born I announced it on FB with her first picture of her nude on a scale, there wasnt a money shot or anything. My settings are really private but I'm weary of putting pictures of her up on FB where shes just in a diaper, I get paranoid some pedo will somehow get it and use it as child porn or something.

I post what I want on FB. I don't add random people so it doesn't really matter to me. As far as posting nude pictures of a newborn, tons of people do that and I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.


What a lot of people fail to realize is that if a predator is attracted to a child, it does NOT matter what they are wearing, or lack of. They are attracted either way. Posting a nude picture of a newborn is not going to hurt anything.

I only use my fb to keep in touch with family & real life friends so I post pics of my kids. SO doesn't use any social networking but he doesn't care if I post pics. The only ones I have problems with are my neices slutty ones but I'm not her mom so...

The only reason why I have FB is to share pics with out of town family and friends. I also keep everything private. I don't like it when family tried to tag themselves in pics of my kids that they are in. I usually delete those.

and are you a predator? How else would you know exactly how they are attracted to a child? I'm sure its works the same way a regular person is a attracted to another person of age, clothed they are attracted, naked probably turns them on more. But I'm also sure it varies from pedophile to pedophile and they all have their own personal preferences.

my FB is private. but if my friends/family post pics of my kids, they tag me in it. if i want it taken down, they will.

I have seen numerous interviews on criminals, and or sexual predators. Many of them are attracted to children regardless of their clothes or lack of them. That's kind of just common sense if you think about it.

It's actually part of a basic psychological profile. Research it yourself. Triggers, behaviors all those sorts of things can be found if you search for them. It's based off psychologists and numerous law enforcement officials studying the behaviors, patterns and confessions of many many many child predators. So yes, I do know that it is true. Just because it doesn't sound logical to you doesn't mean it's not true.

I post pictures of my kids but not naked just because I don't need the smart-ass comments from family members and those "friends" I have to have on FB for civil purposes even though I don't like them[I'm sure everyone has at least one of those lol].

I wouldn't post other kids without parents' permission. My Facebook is totally private.
