It feels like you're on or period because your uterus is still healing and shrinking back to size not to mention all the other muscles going back to normal and the organs that were pushed around are going back. You had a watermelon in there displacing everything and it takes some time for it to go back to normal, totally normal. Ate you Breastfeeding? If so it should help all that go back to normal faster.
Did you need any stitches?? If so it can cause your vagina to stay sore for a while.
I always bled for about 2 weeks straight, and then had a few weeks off before I got my first post-pregnancy AF. Even then, all the nurses and midwives told me I was bleeding too much and for too long (during the first 2 weeks postpartum), and that I needed to take it easy in order to get it to stop, even though I said my bleeding was no heavier than a normal period during the 2nd week.
