I am so torn :(

Will be separating from my daughter for one saturday afternoon-sunday night. My mother and Dad go out of town to the house they have overthere in coahuila.My almost 20yr old sis is going to and she is gonna help take care of my almost 1yr old. I usually don't go cuz my hubby works nights. I am staying to do hardcore house cleaning, moving some furniture around and stuff,,,I am 16wks pregnant and its hard for me to run around my girl and have the house as clean and well set as I would like. I am sad that for the first time since she was born she will be gone for a weekend. Am I wrong to let her go??But I really need to do some extreme cleaning

She's with family you trust right ? She'll probably have a blast!

Yes my parents and sister who is her future God Mother,,,my baby she loves them but we've never been separated that long lol. I guess I better get used to it for when I am in labor.

As long as you know she is with safe people, you should have no worries about it. My parents are taking DS for the night tomorrow too, and I always love and appreciate the time away. It gives me much needed time to get ahead on school work and studying and it gives them time to enjoy him without him constantly trying to cling to me. Don't feel bad about it at all. Everyone needs and deserves a break and I'm sure she will have a great time!

It's hard the first time. Now when my mom wants them I don't hesitate lol

  yes and I can definitely enjoy sleeping a little more too lol.

My 9 month old is having a sleep over with his Nana and Papa tonight. My other two boys are spending the night with friends. If your child is in good care then there is absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. Mommy needs some alone time every now and then. It may be to get work done, catch up on sleep, or for no other reason than to keep your sanity and not forget that you're much more than just a mommy. For me it's date night with my hubby!
