re: Smoking weed while pregnant

That sounds like she's smoking to get (and stay) high and that's no bueno while pregnant. The least she could do is eat or vape it.

There's also the issue of the baby getting drug tested once it's born if she goes to a hospital.

but you should warn her that when they blood test the baby when its born and they find any trace of it, the child will be taken away until they are investigated. my sister went in early labor and when they did her blood work and found the traces of weed CPS was standing outside while they did the babys blood work and if there had been any trace she would have lost my niece.

Smoking is stupid, I don't understand why people willingly inhale smoke.

TBH, I don't think she wants to be pregnant. I understand women complain during pregnancy (I used to), but she just over exaggerates (has since day one) and makes her pregnancy sound like an inconvenience. During the first few weeks (less than 8 weeks), she went to the ER because she had morning sickness. She asked my MIL and FIL to get a wheel chair and push her into the pharmacy. She, as a person is just too much. Even during her first trimester, she just couldn't wait to have the baby, so she could get her tubes tied, so she can have breast implants and a tummy tuck/lipo.

She also said she was going to say she didn't know who the daddy was so she could get government assistance. We just stared at her like WTF?

Not my body or baby, So it doesn't matter to me I wont judge her,but CPS will if they drug test her baby at birth.

I'm going to mention it to my MIL. It bothers me only because I lost my daughter to undiagnosed heart defects and barely took Tylenol yet her baby will more than like (which I pray he is) be healthy even though she smokes weed.

Same. Smoking is faster than anything I've found. Before I picked up smoking, I'd just go to sleep. Unfortunately, I can't do that all the time anymore   So, smoking is my release.

I couldn't tell ya, too many people in my family have died from lung cancer so I've never had the urge.

Have you tried replacing it with another habit/activity? When my s/o quit smoking cigarettes he picked up jogging in its place.

I'm really sorry about your daughter  .


And yeah id mention it to tiur MIL or BIL cuz my niece was almost taken Away cuz my sister tested positive luckily the baby didn't. But if she or the baby does then CPS will take him. And your brother won't get him either he will be out in the system until everything is taken care of.
