hitting on a guy

How do you do it.... Seriously... I have liked a guy for almost a year, he knows i like him, but i have no idea how to even talk to him.... We used to talk on a regular basis on Facebook, but i deactivated mine and haven't really talked to him since... I see him and say hi but that's about it.... Last time we talked on Facebook i was drunk and i told him he should say yes to me and get it over with. He responded saying he planned on it just not that night... I was really excited, but now.... Idk I'm a very shy person.... I hardly choke out a hi when i see him... I'm tempted to reactivate my Facebook just to talk to him.... Any advice? I seriously have no idea about this kind of stuff. If all i wanted was sex, i would have got it by now because when that's the goal i have treated it like a game in the past and get a whole different confidence that i never have other than that.. But i really really like this guy... Its been a while since I've actually wanted to pursue a guy let alone actually try to.... I sound like an idiot :/

If he knows you like him and hasn't pursued you, I'd take that as a hint and move on.

Usually i would but he's told me more than once that he'd like to invite me over when we are both not busy, but i haven't talked to him since because i deactivated my Facebook. I have only seen him once since but he was working.

Just do it. The worst that could happen is he says no, and by the information you are giving you know he wont say no, so what are you scared of?

I have no self esteem and no self confidence.... That's why i talked to him on Facebook usually..... I draw a blank when trying to talk to him and smile like I'm stupid instead :/
