parents with THREE kids..

Do you feel like your family is uneven? Do you foresee any of your kids being the "third wheel" in the family?

No, not at all. I've always wanted an uneven number of kids. If I for some reason had one more, I'd have to have a 5th

I don't feel like any of them will be the 3rd wheel, but I do want a 4th.

since my 3 include twins, I have started to see some distance between the 2 of them and their older sister. She started school this year and so she's gone for 2 hrs every day and it seems like since then, they've spent less time playing with her. Just together. That being said, it works out because she needs her own time too so when they don't want to play with her, she does her own thing. I do want another baby one day though.

Up until my youngest was really mobile, i didn't notice any uneven-ness. I think my oldest and middle baby are much closer and much nicer to each other than they are to the baby. My middle baby is probably the one who picks fights with the youngest the most.

All of that might change though when my oldest goes to school next september. I do feel a little bit bad about the "3's a crowd" issue, but not bad enough to get pregnant again.  

No, our family actually feels complete. My first 2 are super close and i thought that'd be a problem with my 3rd because she's 3 years younger than her sister and 4 years younger than her brother but it actually hasn't been a problem, they love when she "plays" with them.

I have heard that it is better for kids to grow up in an uneven family because it encourages fluidity in relationships.

Nope, we have 3 and we are done. I already got my tubal ligation done, and DH is even thinking of getting his operation done just to be double sure. DH also comes from an uneven number of siblings. I'm an only child.

Nope,but i wont have 3 for much longer thats okay though. I was really content with 3. It never felt uneven to me or anything..
