lying

Am I wrong to be pissed that my husband is lying to me. He knew before we got married that I would never marry a smoker, so he was hiding it and lying to me. I realized this and confronted him and he told me he wouldn't be buying them since we do not have the money for them he would only bum them off of friends. Well I just opened the dryer and cigg wrapping just fell out of the dryer. So that means he is buying them right? So he was lying to me again right? I just want to make sure that I am not just crazy thinking this before I confront him. We have two children to take care of and buying one pack is the same price as diapers and they cut back on his hours so my grandparent have been helping us with bills. So I think it is wrong to buy them when someone else has to help pay for our bills.

It's not possible that a friend gave him a pack?

I dated a smoker briefly & could taste it when we kissed & smell it on his breath/clothing etc.

Perhaps he's having a hard time quitting? It isn't easy. He's probably hiding it from you because of the way you act.

He quit for a whole year and just started back up. And the reason I didn't know is because I was staying at my grandparents during the end of my pregnancy due to complications. I am pissed my kids dont need to be around that especially since is a a reason for sids

This, DH smoked for awhile and there's NO way he could have hid it from me.

Plus how much are cigarettes where you live? Here the most expensive pack is $5 and the cheapest pack of diapers is $10.

I'd be mad. My friends husband is doing the same thing to her and he told SO but I've been sworn to secrecy. I feel bad but I don't know if I should tell her or not. I don't want to ruin SOs friendship because he doesn't really have any friends.   but I feel like its not fair to her

Okay? Maybe he's stressed? Support him instead of being a nagging wife. He was wrong for lying but I can see why he hid it from you.

Ohhh ok, i thought he'd been smoking the enitre time & assumed you'd been together.

Try & be supportive, let him know you're really upset/angry & that he needs to quit again if hes picked the habit up.

I'd be pissed off, but thats how i'd handle it.

well maybe not a whole pack of diapers but I know he used to only smoke one kind and they are like 6 and luvs are 6.95

Hell, my cigarettes are only $3.84 and they're Newport reds. I wish I could find a pack of diapers for that cheap!

not really a nagging wife just he entered in the relationship in a lie so why wouldnt i be pissed
