re: help with my daughter, rash *pic*

I took my daughter into the ER on Tuesday for the same symptoms minus the rash. They said it was just the stomach flu. The next day she started to run a fever of 106, so we took her to a different hospital with a pediatric ER. She has H1N1 and had to have an IV. Good luck, I hope she feels better soon.

Her fever is very low right now, with no meds it's peaking at 101.2 so barely a fever.

I'm so sorry about your little girl.

Idk, Amanda but I'd keep an eye on that.

Okay. Googling brought me to hives which can be caused by an infection like what she has.



It just goes away on it's own.

Poor Brooke.  

Is it hot to the touch? And raised?

Like becca said could be a hive, Kaye had that when she was younger, but it was hot and raised.

Kieran gets bad hive rashes like that whenever he has a viral infection.

Thanks babe, she's asleep now, hasn't vomited since 7ish, so we may be in the clear for the night. I'm just not good when she's sick.. I worry so much

I just have a cold, a really brutal one but I'm just so happy not to be vomiting or anything.

She seems okay, still feverish, still cold symptoms but no more rash and no more vomiting and most of all (I may not have mentioned this) but no more lethargic behaviour. Last night she kept talking about the snow man and the big bad wolf being in her bed and her bed being too big and she needs to be smaller, like screaming and crying that she was too big for her nightgown. It was SO weird.

But yes she's much better, thanks lovey!
