Take her to the dermatologist. There's numerous medicated shampoos OTC but a dermatogist may be able to recommend something else. You should also get to the root of the problem. Hair products can cause dandruff.

Are you SURE it's dandruff?? Dandruff is an actual medical condition... a lot of people confuse dry scalp with dandruff and end up using medicated shampoos that are formulated for dandruff and actually dry it out worse.

I know you can use coconut oil for cradle cap. It also conditions hair. I'd try that.

True dandruff will be oily and have a distinct odor. Dry scalp is just that... it's dry, so it's flaking. A good option for dry scalp is a shampoo that has exfoliating beads in it (OTC, I know AXE makes one, even though it's for dudes) and a hot oil treatment.

Dandruff is usually accompanies with red or inflamed skin. Dry scalp isn't.

She can add brown sugar to shampoo also, it's a great option.
