how much longer?

i am 36 weeks today.
i had a doctors appt. today && he said i was dilated to 2 and was 50% effaced.
i dont feel like im ever going to have her but i have been having light cramps in my back ever since last night around 11.
could this be early labor??

Probably early labor.

You could be at a 2 for weeks.
I was at a four for over a week.

it could be early labor, but honestly you could stay like that for a while. i've been 4 cm dilated and 80-90% effaced for the last 3 weeks! lol. i'm 36 weeks today.

Coud be BHs. Could be early labor. You could go into labor later tonight or go over your due date. I was 2cm at 37wks and didn't have my son till I was 41 wks, and at 37wks I was in pain a lot-complete misery thought i would go into labor any minute and never did   I had to be induced.

It could be early labor and you could go overdue.

I was 2cm and had BH every 4-6 minutes for two weeks before I had DD. You'll really never know.

Could be early labor but it.could last awhile. I was 3cm 50% effaced nand in early labor at 36 weeks and didn't have DS til 39 weeks

i was hoping it would be a little bit longer but not THAT long lol
ugh i hope if its not within the next week or so that this aggravating pain goes away....its rather dull but uncomfortable!
