husband leaving 38/39 weeks freaking out

So my husband will be gone Feb. 19th-25th ... I am freaking out. His boss called today & they have a job and there is no choice in the matter. We live in Illinois and he will be gone to Alabama. I was afraid something like this was going to happen. I'm on bed rest now & go see Dr. again on the 7th. My dr. said if my levels weren't down he'd take the baby otherwise I'd be off bedrest. He has talked about inducing at 39 weeks - just scared hubby won't be here for the baby's birth. :*(

*hugs* Either way, I promise you'll be OK! I hope he doesn't miss anything, and I hope he's home...but if not, take it from someone's husband who missed the birth...you'll be alright   Hang in there!

I know how you feel. My SO is a truck driver. I am so worried he will be in CA or some other state when I go into labor. I am trying to talk my doc into inducing me so we can schedule his vacation. But my doc wont do it till 39 weeks. Unless my NST shows I need it earlier.
