describing baby kicks to your husband

I'm 18w3d and have been feeling significant movement for a little while now
It has become more prominent to where I can definitely tell it is 100% baby. Anyways, I cannot for the life of me figure out any comparison of how it feels to tell my husband. He is desperate to feel the baby, but it probably won't be a few more weeks until he can. So, how would you describe it?

Gas............ lol

A twitch.

When I first started feeling her the feeling was similar to being on a roller coaster...

Lol I thought about that but it doesn't compare. I thought maybe a twitch? Or popcorn? Idk hahaha, it's sooo hard of a thing to describe to someone that hasn't/can't experience it!

It started out feeling like a goldfish was in my belly. Sometime just a slight brush of a fin and sometimes like it was thrashing around in my abdomen.

I cant remember what I would tell DH kinda like popcorn at first lol (with my previous LOs) and Im due the same day as you with this one and dont feel it move yet or cant definely say thats the baby and not gas and this is my fourth ..poop..  

A muscle twitch. Like when a muscle in your arm twitches.. Which now it feels more like someone takes their thumb and sort of quickly rubs it on the inside of my belly lol. When he/she is moving a lot, lay your hand there. At 18 weeks I actually could feel it through my belly already (only sometimes). My dr said its because I am small so there's less room, so it has more chance of being where I can feel it, rather than if I were bigger. Or a bubble sliding across the inside of your belly lol.

I never thought about it like that! But that's totally how it feels now!!

OT now, but I just asked my husband "Have you ever held a goldfish underwater?" Totally should have worded that differently because he just looked at me like I was crazy and we both busted out laughing. :blush:

LMAO I almost typed exactly that but I thought it would sound weird, haha

I do that every time I feel movement, but I can't feel anything from the outside yet. I'm much heavier than I was with my first pregnancy and I can't remember how far I was when I noticed it then.

Hahaha well at least now I don't feel so bad about saying it!

Oh.:/ They need to make a simulator like they did with the contractions lol. I think it's so crazy feeling the baby in there (this is my first pregnancy). I feel lonely when I can't feel him, lol.

Like muscle spasms all over my tummy, or something pushing out against my tummy. That's about the only way I can describe it to DH...

I'm almost 22 weeks and I've been looked at like I'm crazy when I describe it ...you know when little kids gets really upset and kick and scream on the floor ?! Yeah well my insides are the floor ...that's just how I visualize it ..
