Seriously?

I have no clue what to smurfing do. The daycare my children go to is closing..the kids last day there is Monday. Wednesday they are suppose to start going to this girls house that I know..she actually worked at the daycare, so we would be helping each other out. We have everything set up, from the time they are dropped off and picked up...and what I will be paying and what she provides and all of that. Well now she just texted me saying that her husband is starting therapy for his back (he had surgery not too long ago) three days a week and she has to drive him 40 minutes away from her house to his therapy which lasts from 9-3. She will be staying there the entire time because she can't afford to drive back and forth. So now here is the issue..my oldest is in preschool. His school starts at 8:45 and ends at 11:15. So she wouldn't be able to drop him off OR pick him up. And she will be sitting in the waiting room all day with her kid and my youngest..who is 8 months old. I have no idea what to do. And I have to figure out what to do before Wednesday. I have tried everywhere already for daycare centers or just anyone who babysits. There is nothing. I'm starting to panic. I seriously don't know what to do. And her husband can't drive himself because of the surgery he had..they even took his license so he couldn't drive. Ugh........I'm about to cry because there is seriously nothing I can do!

Princeville...like 20 minutes from peoria. My heart is racing. And now they can't even go on Monday because the lady who is usually in the baby room got put on bed rest today.

Have you looked around FB for childcare groups in your area. Your really far south of me. I found on one CL, it's for moms or childcare providers only. They check your profile to make sure you are real & suggest doing a play date before letting someone babysit.

Any SAHMs at your daughters preschool? Maybe one of them can help you for a little while till you find an alternative.
