Things kids say that break your heart

Im pretty much heart broken. So right now me and DD are coloring and she is coloring her princess coloring book. Then randomly shes like -Mommy, is my coloring beautiful? I said of course and then she said - When you go in the coloring book im going to color you very beautiful and i will have another mom because you will be in the book  
She was so thrilled with this idea about me being gone in the book. Then she started talking about having other moms and other grandmas ect...
I think my pregnancy hormones are crazy right now

I know it's a bummer when they say things that we perceive to be insensitive, but they don't process emotion like we do. She's not saying it out of spite or anger, her imagination is just carrying on.

I think it's kind of cute she wants to color you into a beautiful picture. lol

I feel you. My boys have said some crazy stuff to me, and even though in the back of my head that they don't mean it, it still makes me all sad. lol
