Yes she is! And she was all smiles for the pictures!

I know nothing about photography, but they look really cute to me! I'm just glad they're not overedited into oblivion hahaha.

And try to get some more even lighting, they just look very "snapshot"-y despite the very nice quality and cute kid.  


Try some without cutting off limbs, try some whole body shots, play around with angles, instead of shooting from above, get on the baby's level.

Thanks! Yeah, I do need to get away from close ups.   I'm always doing that. Her mom wants me to take some more soon, I'm getting a lighting kit so that should help a lot with shadows and what not.

What kind of positions are good for 4-5 months? Would props be cute? Like a little basket for her to sit/lay in?

Yeah! If you put her on her tummy, does she push herself up on her arms? That might be another good pose, or you can make little things to prop up the baby.

Ooh, yeah, I'll have to do that with her, she holds her head up really well and is starting to sit up now! Hopefully next week I'll take more of her, and I'll post them, hopefully you'll be on to give me some tips and pointers.
