Getting tubes tied??

Who's had their tubes tied? I had my baby 16 days ago and Ill be having my surgery on the 21st. How bad is the recovery? How bad is the surgery? PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR EXPERIENCES!!!

I asked this the other day. I have my appt to get mine done on march 8th

I had mine done the day after I had my last baby. They did the laproscopic incision at my belly button and honestly it was pretty painful the first few days. It hurt to stand up, cough, laugh - pretty much anything that made me move my stomach muscles. I had just given birth the day before though..so that may have contributed. Within a week I was back up and feeling fine. I am not 5 weeks out from having it done and feel normal.

Oh, and they put me to sleep for the actual procedure, so it was the easiest part.
