how should I spell this....

My hubby wanted to name our new baby after a family member and I have taken a liking to the name its the only one we have agreed on, the family members name was Hezekiah (heh-ze-kiah) but I wasn't loving the H, so we took it out to modernize it to Zekiah. the problem is the way it sounds would look like there would be a A instead of E, so Zakiah and we could call him Zak or kai. what do you ladies think? REMINDER: PLS DONT BASH THIS NAME, YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT BUT THAT IS YOUR PREFERENCE, MINE IS I DO LIKE IT, SO KEEP MEAN COMMENTS TO YOURSELF. ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS SPELLING FOR THE SAKE FOR PRONUNCIATION. THANK YOU.

I like old names like that. I named DS Ezekiel and we call him Zeke.

I'd keep the original name and spelling! It's freakin awesome! But if you are sure you don't want to I would spell it Zakiah

I would use an A instead of E. It looks better, in my opinion.
