I've tried the suggestions. keeping it as dry as i can. keeping it moisturised. not letting his dribble get there, or milk when he drinks. i clean it. but nothing stops it crusting over all yellow  ? When i clean it stays all sticky and gooey?

this picture is after cleaning it with warm boiled water on a cotton wall ball.
it only seems to bother him if i touch it lol.... i just dunno what to do for it anymore??   it doesn't smell or anything.

i'm gonna take him to the doctors monday, his doctor isn't intoday or i'd take him today. I'd really appreciate what you ladies think?? thank you!

My daughter and I both get something like this in the winter. It's like it cracks, then oozes a little and just gets crusty but irritated underneath. I put A&D ointment on it and that works wonders.

I've tried Aqueous cream (nurse recommended it) and tried his eczema cream, Cetraben cream.
I do have vasiline, would that work? I didn't know wether that would be ok to put on it.

What is A&D ointment?   x

A&D is sold in the diaper cream isle. It's vitamin A and Vitamin D...and can be used for burns, chapped lips, diaper rash, etc. I use it on my nose when I have a cold, on cheeks, lips, and other areas where my skin gets super dried out and peely or raw (the backs of my arms in the winter get bad).

It kind of looks like an over growth of yeast. If it gets moist back there yeast can grow.

My 5 y/o gets this when she goes to bed with wet hair. Her doctor told me to make sure I dry her hair good and put neosporin (sp?) on it til it goes away.

i don't think you can get neosporin in the UK, i just googled it. Is it a bit like Savlon ? (it's an antiseptic cream) I've tried that too but it always ends up the same. I'm starting to think the only thing that might work is going to the doctors. His gonna think i'm such a worry wart! lol .xx
