So much fur baby cuteness!

So yesterday we found this puppy, well rather he found us. My back door was open from taking in the groceries and when I came back he was in there. We are trying to find its home. He has to be someones, his tail has been cut, he is potty trained, crate trained. I just hope i can find his home as much as i would love to keep him. Our german shepherd is loving him. She is just being a "mom" to him.



















I really wish i could keep him, if we can't find his home, we are going to try to rehome him. I am not taking him to the shelter (thats not an option). I just know if i already love him, someone has to be missing him alot.

Maybe take him to a vet or shelter to see if they scan him for a microchip as well?

I called all our vets, and the shelter. I took him to get scanned no microchip. None of the vets have seen him either. I've never seen him around my neighborhood either.

there are usually websites where you can post about lost and found animals in your area. I would try there, and post on craigslist (we found our dog on cl a few years ago after he ran away in a strange area), and leave messages with all the shelters and vets in the area, so that if anyone calls inquiring about a lost dog, your info will be there.
be wary though- occasionally you will find people who will try to say the animal is theirs just because they want a free pet.

  I wouldn't give anyone any info besides, "found puppy." Let them tell you his coloring, cropped tale ect. When we lost our dog we told the guy who found her all about the tricks she will do and that she had a scar on her right ear. That way you don't have to worry about someone scamming you z

we made signs and only put found black puppy. that was it. i dont want someone saying its theirs and its not. And i wouldnt put it past the people in my city.
