Help!...Scared!...Normal?!
posted 1st Feb
Ok so I haven't had ANY complications so far this pregnancy or any pregnancy at that! I woke up this morning and I just went to the bathroom. Well when I had wiped there was blood, enough to say it looked like I just started my period. There is no cramping and I have a pad on to see if anymore occurs and I'll obviously be calling my doctor whenever the office opens up ay 8:30..But I'm just scared smurfless ,I wanna know if this has happened to anybody else and what their outcomes were..I'm a little past 18 weeks. I hope someone can ease my mind.

I had early bleeding due to RH negative blood. I ended up needing Rhogam.
Are you RH negative?
Have you had sex recently?
Did you even stumble or slightly fall down stairs?
Slightly bump your belly at all?

No to all of them
I'm just so scared right now!

I wouldnt be toooooo scared since you arent cramping. Just calm down breathe and relax. Stressing out can stress baby out. Vaginal bleeding can occur during pregnancy but just wait for the doctor to open or call L&D and see what they say.

Thanks..My doctors office opens in 830..and I can't go to L&D til I'm 20 weeks.I have an appointment on tuesday, but he might try to get me in today or wait til tuesday since there is no cramps associated with it. I put a pad on & so far there is no more...So that's a good sign. I wish I had one of those doppler things so I could atleast make sure there is still a heartbeat. I'm just gonna say a prayer and relax til then I hear from my doctor

I was about that far along and a simular thing happen to me but it was more like a blood clott then i bleed for an hour or so. It wasnt anything serious but i'd wait to talk to the doctor. The only thing you can do is relax and try not to stress as it could turn into a miscarrage if your not carm.

Bleeding is normal throughout pregnancy, some women bleed throughout the whole thing as long as it is not thick and dark or real heavy, you're fine. Also like someone else said if there are no cramps or pains it's fine, dont stress out too much Hope all is well.

Yep, same thing happened to me. You should be fine..bleeding can happen. Just try to stay calm, and keep off of your feet! That cervix is very sensitive. But if it does stay constant and get heavy for sure go to the doc. Feel better

Thanks ladies!! My doctors nurse finally called me back! They won't send you to L&D here until your atleast 20 wks...I don't know if it's like that everywhere or not. But she wants me to go in through the ER so we can atleast get a ultrasound to make sure the baby is okay. I haven't had any intercourse or nothing that could of caused the bleeding so she just wants to make sure it's normal bleeding and there is no underlying reason. My two older babies get home at 330 and 4,So I will be taking them to their daddy's for the weekend(they haven't been there in 2 weeks anyways) So I can get some rest and take my butt up there and get checked out. Plus it'll ease my mind to see baby and hear her heartbeat. Thanks so much,it's very much appreciated and I will keep everyone updated as soon as I'm back
