Hey ladies,
Here is some new tips pear juice mix with water will help a baby poop. I learned giving a baby that when they are sick is better than nothing at all. Be patient with your child. Sleep when your baby sleeps. Remember the purple cry. If your baby doesn't stop crying take your baby into a different room and give yourself some time alone. That may be the best thing for a baby. I know it is hard but setting time aside because your baby doesn't stop cry will help you relieve your stress on your baby.

If you Breastfeed you shouldnt need to give your infant juice. And if you do give them juice it should be an oz at most, otherwise it can seriously hurt them.
This is a weird first post.

My doc told me to give dd an oz of juice at 4 weeks. None of the things he did in his office worked first though. I think it was his last resort. But I wouldn't ever advocate it unless a doctor has told you too.

lol. Such an odd first post.
I heard of giving baby prune juice from 6weeks+ to help poo but not sooner than that. Dexter didn't go for about 2 weeks when he was little and the doctors just gave his belly a good rub and he did the BIGGEST Smurf i've ever seen in my life. lol. and his been fine since. lol!

Wow thanks for explaining all of that on a website forum dedicated to mothers. It's not like any of us know that information. We needed you to come make a first post & explain it to us & we wouldn't have any idea otherwise.

i think she meant to say "expect to never sleep again"
OP, you do realize youre on a parenting site right? You posted obvious information. And youre not supposed to give a child juice too early. And talk to your doctor about other options before just opting for juice.

Really.
Op, this post isn't the least bit helpful it just feels kind of condescending. Like you, as a brand new mom, some how think you've discovered these parenting "secrets" and we should be grateful for your advice. It's all pretty common sense.
No smurf juice will help a baby poop, but its also really bad for their digestion so it should be used as a last resort AFTER 6 weeks.

The little bitch must skip mine, too!
I very, very, very rarely have ever slept when DD sleeps (other then at night, of course). This past week has been different though since we're all sick and all we want to do is sleep. So, my house is looking a little messy right now. Even though I do 'pick up' I've skipped out on the hard core cleaning I usually do. My mop, swiffer, Lysol, broom, cleaning sprays and cloths (plus everything else I forgot to mention) are all on a week's vacation.
But OP, thanks for the advice we all truly did not know ;)
