You do have a choice!!! You can absolutely tell him you're not doing it!!! Seriously, tell them to kiss your ass, especially if that's not what YOU want to do! I do agree with ^^^ ask if they can at least try to manually turn baby!

moxibustion is also know to help turn babies from breech to cephalic...also worth while researching.

I had a c-section with my 1st bc she was breech and as much as I has wished I could have had a natural delivery, I am grateful that she was born healthy. They found a cord tied around her neck too while pulling her out, so it's best to accept whatever outcome in the best interest of the baby. Good luck!

I agree that having a healthy baby is the most important thing, but also feel the need to add that many babies are born naturally with a cord around there neck, it is highly unusual for a cord to be wrapped tight around a babies neck or wrapped more than once. Usually all that is required is to unwrap this when baby is born. Whilst in labour the fetal heart is monitored, Changes to this, specifically late decals may indicate this during labour and the midwife would be keeping an eye on this for the safety of both mum and baby. C-secs can also cause problems to mother and baby, so nothing is truly 'safe'.
