Crawling help!
posted 1st Feb
My son is 7 months next week and for the last month all he does is try to stand and try to crawl. I feel so bad for getting fustrated but my arms are abou to fall off!
We were living in a place I wasn't able to do tummy time often enough but now that we moved, I feel like he would much rather walk then crawl. He will grab anything (couch, dad, bunny) and pull himself up and Stan for a few seconds then fall, then try again. Tht I don't mind very much but it's killing my arms.
When he tries to crawl he throws his butt in the air and will kick his legs and face plant haha he has always been a great sleeper till now. He wakes up and will sit himself up and cry till I let him try to crawl again. Both is us are losing needed sleep which is no good.
Help please!

Why is it hurting your arms? If he's ready to crawl or walk he shouldn't need you holding him up Let him do it at his own pace, use your hands only to stop him from bouncing his head off of things ;)

He likes to hold my Hans while he stands

Thanks for saying it for me! Lol I was going to say something about letting him do it on his own and the fall thing...let him fall just don't let him hit his head. If you miss it and he hits once a few times it isn't going to kill him.
Also, I was walking and crawling all within the same month.

Ahhh...try getting down on your knees and walking that way. I did some crazy things when my son was learning to crawl and walk lol

My son still isn't crawling he is almost 1 yr old. I think he is going to skip it and just start walking one day. There's no reason to be worried your lo sounds pretty normal to me.
