Hearing problem

so i know i don't really know any of you ladies here, but please pray for my son cooper! he has had his hearing tested 3 times, and each time in his right ear it, he can't pass the test :/ he goes back to his doctor on the 12th of this month and im praying he can pass the test!! they said if he doesn't he will probably have to have a small hearing aid placed in his ear :/ i hate my baby is going through this :/ she said it could affect his schooling later on if he doesn't get the hearing aid. i just want everything to be ok, and for him to pass! i mean if he has to have one it is what it is, but im honestly thinking about going to a ENT, just for futher evaluation, besides jumping into getting him a hearing aid.

You know I will be praying poor Cooper  . But ya know he sure is a doll! I really want to come up there and see yall before I pop my LO out lol! Oh and just keep on praying it's all in God's hands girl!

Im shocked they havent already sent you to an ENT to rule stuff out. I hope whatever the issue, you find out soon.

thank you! well they sent him to a doctor in greenville, called "clarity" they redid a test. i guess it was a futher evaluation of it. but he didn't pass it again. so they are wanting to redo it once again on the 12th. she said if he doesn't pass this time, then they will put a hearing aid in. im kind of wanting to just see if his doctor can refer him to a ENT, cause they really study the anatomy of the ear.

Well I guess even if I can't make it before he gets here, then I can always bring my little ninja with me   and then they can have play time lol. And yep! That is the best thing to do for now until you find out if he will need too. I hope he passes this time!

that would be good(: cause i'd love to meet your little one too haha(: and yep! i mean if he doesn't pass, then he will just have to do the hearing aid. but im hoping for the best and that's all i can do!

Well I really do hope he does! And that would be awesome   and yep wishing for the best is the best thing to do!

did the doctor actually look into his ear?

I've had the same problem with Luna since she was a newborn. We went yesterday to have a doctor look in her ear and he saw some fluid. Said if it doesn't go away by the time she reaches a certain weight, she will have a tube out in her ear to drain it. No biggie

well the place he goes to know, they did check for fluid! and he didn't have any of that.
