Back labor?

I went in for my nst and started having back pain and contractions... they started out mild... then got higher and higher within 45 minutes.... but nothing changed, so she let me go... the pain has not stopped it has gotten worse and sitting is unbearable. The one nurse said it would be fine for me to come back, but when I called a few minutes ago.... another nurse acted like she could care less because when I told her my symptoms she was like ok? ....then told me to wait until they are 2-3 minutes apart.... which they been coming every two minutes and pressure just started.... I was only a 1cm on the outside.... I have ate, which was interesting because contractions and eating do not mix.... and I have drank a bunch! I slammed 16 oz's in 10 minutes about 30 minutes ago. But I have been drinking.... what should I do?! Sitting is getting unbearable.

If your contractions are 2 minutes apart I would be going in.

Thats what my mother in law said.... but the nurse did not want to be bothered from the looks of it... but I been like this all day and it's not easing up any at all... and it's bad when sitting is just awful.

You're a month early, you need to go in.

How far from the hospital are you?

Some nurses act like that no matter what. Forget her. I'd go in and hope she's not there. lol

They won't stop it.... they already said.... because I been in and out of preterm and I got the steroid shots.... they said if I am 35 or more they would not stop it nor would they ship me to another hospital... which is why I think the nurse doesn't want to be bothered.

I'm over 30 minutes.

I'd get going then. How "bad" are the contractions? If they are pretty powerful, I'd definitely go.

Should I continue to wait?! I really don't know... I always went in early, but she acted annoyed i'm afraid i'll just make them mad....

My stomach gets real tight and I have the most horrible back pain that comes and goes... feels like knives stabbing me... (never been stabbed but if I had to take a guess this is what it would feel like) nothing I have felt before.

I'd start heading out now especially if it is 30 minutes away and you've been in preterm labor. Sounds to me like you are in labor. Forget that nurse! Your baby's life is WAY more IMPORTANT! Good luck !! ;)

Thanks i'm going!! I can't stand this anymore... and I do not know whats going on, and he's been pretty quiet since this all started.
