Trouble sleeping.

My daughter is 8 months..

& she won't sleep!

Literally, I lay her down in her crib and she can cry for an 30 minutes straight. I pick her up and she stops, I lay her back down and she starts crying again. I finally started patting her butt till she fell asleep but then she only sleeps for around 45 minutes and wakes up & starts crying again.

I don't know what to do!
Advice? Please!

Well for one she's way too young to cry it out for THIRTY MINUTES
