Post-op recovery question

So, on Monday I had my gallbladder removed. I think I've actually recovered much, much better than most - I took two Advil the second day and have had no need for pain medication otherwise.
However, it seems like the incision at my belly button looks worse. It feels better but looks a little worse each day. Tuesday it was red, yesterday it looked like a bruise, and today the spot looks worse. There's a small but that's just black and blue and I know it wasn't there yesterday. Is that normal? Something to worry about? I only just noticed it a few minutes ago and it seems a bit overkill to call the doctor over.

that sounds normal. the dr should have given. you some post op care info that will tell you the things that you should watch for.
