Cleaning blood out of a mattress?

Kind of gross...





I bled through a tampon and woke up to blood on my mattress. How can I get the stains out? I've applied cold water and don't know what else to try.

Baking soda and vinegar maybe? Club soda?

Hydrogen peroxide.

Oxyclean!!

I called the number that was on the label for my mattress becasue I was going to try oxyclean in a bottle and they said the spray carpet cleaner like resolve...it worked

That happens to me all the time, I have to wear a tampon and a pad to bed  . I usually scrub it with whitening toothpaste.

Works wonders on blood.

Peroxide, and believe it or not shaving cream and cold water (men's) if you get it fast enough.

I bought one of those kids wetting mats as since Meg and everything i end to bleed heavily now, its so much easier and it goes in the machine its only the size of a small blanket and fabric so its not crinkly or anything
