Plz help lice

My daughter is in daycare I received a call yesterday that there had been a lice outbreak and that my daughter had it When I got there nine others were sent home as well They said they had found 2 eggs behind her ear But no live bugs of course I freaked out took her home went through her hair did the Over the counter treatment washed sprayed and vacuumed every inch of my house bagged everything I went through her hair three times yesterday also went through it today with conditioner and the Special comb and again with baby oil filled up the sink to see if any bugs would flow and I have yet to find anything I have found no eggs and no bugs is it possible they were wrong they said it was a light case so maybe it's gone? Or do I just not know what I'm looking for I need input!! Plz help I'm freaking out

If you did all that and didn't find anything...most likely it's gone. It's just lice, it happens. Doesn't mean you or your daughter are dirty or anything.

School nurse said I had lice, turned out to be dandruff. You could go to your PCP and they will be able to take a look.

Totally. I had a friend come spend the night with me once and turned out she had lice, which my mom found. We were like 9. She cried and was so embarrassed, and she kept saying she didn't want me to think she was gross. My mom told her not to feel embarrassed because lice like to live in clean hair, so it just meant she was clean   I always remembered that lol

But yeah OP if you didn't find anything after doing all that, it sounds like maybe they caught it before she was actually infected. Could be that a bug jumped off someone else, laid a few eggs which the got at the school, and then jumped off.

See that makes me wonder because it wasn't even a nurse it was just one of the girls at the daycare who went through their hair
