How quickly can you get rid of the flu??

I got kids throwing up and upset stomachs.. No fever or chills..

1 by 1 someone is catching it and i want it gone before my new born gets it!

Any ideas?

All you can do is keep the baby away until its over with. We all had it too and I was so worried my 4 month old would get it. Thankfully she didn't. But I just stayed away from her when I was sick.

We had it when I brought my son home from the hospital in the summer. I just kept him away from whoever had it and disinfected everything. When I got it I contined nursing him and he avoided it.

That doesn't really sound like the flu but sounds like norovirus. Just keep wiping everything down, close the lid of the toliet before yall flush so it doesnt come up in the air, just keep disinfecting. Oh and wash wash wash your hands.

I think I have it right now.   I'm trying to stay away from everyone as best as I can (laughable with my kids wanting to lay with mommy...) and wash my hands often.

ugh i have had 2 kids down, now my husband and 1 kid today starting not to feel well, All in a week period.. I have been sanitizing and washing like mad!

Sounds like gastroenteritis...yeah yeah the stomach "flu". Just practice good hand hygiene, don't share personal items like cups etc.

When my DS had it, it lasted about 8 hours. DH was down for almost 36 hours. DD and I didn't get sick b/c I sprayed EVERY surface in the house with Lysol and wiped EVERYTHING down with Clorox wipes (especially doorknobs and light switches). I also had all of us constantly using hand sanitizer. I might have gone overboard, but I did NOT want to catch that at 22 weeks pg...

Cylus's lasted the best part of a week (on and off) and Audrianna was good after 24 hrs.   We bleached EVERYTHING! lol I somehow managed not to get it.

My nephew had it the better part of a week too   He was miserable.

*KNOCK ON WOOD* Usually when it hits my house we're down on average 24 hours only before we're on the road to recovery (might still FEEL bad, but no more puking or diarrhea)

Cylus being home for a week drove me nuts!!!!!! I was like holy smurf kid no routine for you kills your behavior!

So far its a 24 hour thing, husband we will see how he goes tonight. I am sleeping on the couch with my 3 month old tonight ugh.
