Spitting everything out

For the past 3ish days my 7 month old has been spitting out ALL of his solid food.. Like its a game with bubbles and junk, not that he's not ready. He's been eating since around 5.5 months, happily with no issues, but now everything is coming out!!!
He won't eat anything with any small chunks either so I'm not thinking it's a new texture issue.
What the hell do we do? Stop feeding him (solids)?

It's a phase I'm pretty sure. My LO did that. When she would start I just wouldn't offer it to her, then when she did eat she didn't really do it much.
She's now 18 months and will do that with water... ugh lol

It's making a HUGE mess!! I guess we'll try holding off for a few days. It will give us time to scrape the smurf off the walls lol
