Contractions 8 minutes apart

My contractions been about 8 minutes apart since about 4. THey started at 3 being 10 minutes apart..Do you think I should call the nurse because they are not getting worse. However, they are more uncomfortable than the BH i had before, but not pain I cant walk through. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and when I went in Tuesday I was 4cm 50% effaced. THis morning around 4 I lost lots of my mucus plug with brown streaks in it (tmi). Could this be it because I dont want to call in it turns to nothing. Oh yea I been drinking lots of water but they are still coming they just are not all that painful

I think you should wait until your contractions are closer together. Walk walk walk.

I'd call the nurse just to let them know but stay home for awhile. Your contractions are getting closer together which is good. I'd wait until they were 5 or 6 minutes apart then head to the hospital unless your water breaks before then.

you're probably in early labor   I would wait a little bit longer before going in though.

Don't bother calling. They'll just tell you to do exactly as you're doing and call when they're less than 5 minutes apart.
Walk around, or just get in the tub and relax if they are painful.

Yeah she just called and said wait until they are 4 to 5 minutes apart to call back.

Are you still at home? It was not my ususal midwife that call. I wondering do she know Im already 4cm or should I have told her? does that matter?

My mother told me to just relax and if its the real thing they will get closer, so I guess Im still at square 1...Lol at the jumping jax (are u serious though?)

Haha, the right thing to do would be relax, you'll wish you did if you don't.

I wasn't totally serious, lol. I could never have done jumping jacks at 9months pregnant.

I labored at home until my contractions were less than 5 minutes apart. It was right around 24 hours when I went in.
It doesn't matter too much that you are 4 cm, other than they will admit you once you finally do go to the hospital with contractions less than 5 minutes apart.
Just relax. That was my biggest mistake when I was in labor. I was constantly moving around, and by the time I reached transition and went back to the hospital at 9 cm (I elected to go home once instead of having pitocin), I was falling asleep in the seconds between my contractions.
