DIY Moby Wrap?

Anyone know how to make your own Moby wrap? Like step by step instructions? I've been trying to talk DH into buying me one but he's a tight wad. He keeps saying, "maybe" or "not right now". So if someone knows how to make one that is decent and durable, share your secrets with me please.

Babywearing wraps have been around for a very long time prior to Moby selling their crummy jersey wrap. I hate that "Moby wrap" has become what people call all wraps lol. You can wrap a baby with a long length of pretty much any strong fabric! Find YouTube videos or babywearing websites with wrapping instructions and you can figure out how to wrap a baby in a length of fabric!

there are some great tutorials on youtube. there one were all u need r 2 or 3 L T-shirts...i wanted to try it but i just got a Mei Tai which I LOVE and its only $34

I'm glad you posted this! I've been wanting to do the same thing because the Moby wraps are so freaking expensive.

I know! I was originally wanting a Moby or Boba wrap but thankfully DH is a ass and said, "You have sewing machine, right? They look like a piece of fabric, make one!"

hahahaha. that's great. It looks super easy to do, so now I'm excited! except I'm not good with a sewing machine, so we'll see how that goes. ha.

I'm just a beginner on the sewing machine but it seems simple but I've been known to screw simple sewing projects up! I'm going to try out one of the tutorials this weekend. I'll update on how it goes!

34$? Where did you find yours for 34? They're 89+ on the website.....
