middle name...

So nothing's set in stone but the two girl names SO and I both like are Addison and Adalyn (yeah, I know some of you don't like that spelling but we do).

What middle names do you think would go with either of those? I don't like the super common ones like, Marie, Nicole, Rose, Mae, etc.

I think Addison Nicole is pretty.

Am I not allowed to think and be positive?   And actually we had thought of these names when I was pregnant with my son (before finding out he was a boy).

How about a female name similar like Adelaide. "Son" names are masculine, they mean "Son of" and are tied back to the slave trade. Names like Adamson, Johnson, Jameson, and so on were the slave's last name to signify who owned them.
