Belly button after birth

I'm 2 and a half months pp and I still have that line from pregnancy & my belly button is like black? does anyone know when itll go back to normal or anything i can do to speed it up? my stomach look pretty normal just my belly buttons pigment is way off.. and its not dirty, but it look gross. any suggestions?.. thanks

It can take ages in some people. I'm nearly 7 months pp and still have a really really faint line. I am quite pale though and it was quite dark in pregnancy.

I don't know any methods of how to make it go faster, I just guessed it faded over time.

The linea negra takes time to go away. Mine was pretty dark last pregnancy (and didn't line up through my belly button!) but eventually faded. This pregnancy i barely have a line at all, even though I thought it would be quicker to show up and darker the second time around. It will fade and there's not much you can do about it, it's from pregnancy hormones.

thanks. the lines fading just the inside of mybelly button is black from the hormone changes. i clean it , its just super dry & black, ugh its disgusting, it better go away lol. how long did it take for u? im 3 months pp
