I wouldn't do it till I was sure I was done having kids.

From what a heard, it is easier for a man to reverse their procedure than for a woman. Maybe do some research on the Pro's and Con's of each procedure? Personally, I wouldnt do anything so permanent to my body if were not my idea and something that truly wanted for myself. Couldnt you just use some form of birth controll?

NEITHER! If you possibly want more I wouldn't do anything that might not be fixable. Maybe other forms of contraceptive??

If HE doesn't want anymore children then HE should.

I agree. Don't make a permanent decision if you're not sure.

Usually I would say to take into consideration what someone's SO thinks but this is your body and your LO's are so young still, whether you or him gets the tubes tied, there's no going back when it's done so maybe try discussing forms of birth control in case you two should decide to try for another in the future. And on a side note, you're due on my birthday   Good luck!

Well if you're unsure then I really think you guys should sit down and talk about it. If he truly doesn't want anymore then he needs to be the one to make that choice. Although I don't think someone should get it done without talking about it first. My husband will be getting it done when we decide we're done.

I don't understand the term "get fixed" in the context of having a medical procedure that makes it so you can't have any more kids... You weren't broken

Anyways. He should if he's the one who doesn't want more kids, but it really should be something you BOTH agree on.

If you can't agree, just use birth control. Don't make a decision like that if you're not completely positive.

I agree with this... if YOU don't want it, don't do it. You may end up resenting him for it.

And it's easier, and safer for the guy to do it.
I had a c-section for my last one (6 months ago). Doc asked me if I wanted it done then since he will be "right there" (lol). DH wanted me to do it but I didn't. I don't want any more kids but I don't want that option completely taken away from me either. Make sure it's what YOU want before you do it.

I just hate he is so mind set on me getting fixed and i have been on many types of birth control and none seem to work with my body. It either rejects it or has a bad reaction to it. My husband and i have a low sex life for unsure reasons since he has returned back from over seas.. He says its him not me. so he doesn't want to risk the fact of killing our sex life all together if he gets fixed. but he is sure he does not want any more

If you want more kids, don't do it. It seems a little crazy to me for him to even suggest YOU do something permanent to YOUR body just because HE doesn't want more kids.

Why does he think it will mess up your sex life?

I wouldn't do either in your shoes. My husband and I are kind of in the same situation. We have two daughters, youngest being only 6 months old, and he is thinking he is done, I want another lol. We talked about it though and he will wait a couple years before getting vasectomy in case we decide to have a third.
