re: Ok need HELP...Should I get fixed or should HE!

You guys really need to talk this out, and maybe bring in some counseling for an outside view. He is saying he is done with kids and you are saying you're not sure, maybe you would like one more. How is this solved? Do you just give up on the idea that you might want more, do you persuade him to change his tune? This sounds like maybe it is more than just who should have the procedure done-dont you think?

Well I can't honestly say I've done much research on them. I will when that time comes but I do know it's supposed to be better recovery time for a man than a woman. And I'm sure there are some risks as there is in anything but I doubt that happens too often or men wouldn't still be getting them lol.

I agree...I know it has a lot to do with our sex life now and his problem of getting turned on..To be out there and honest i am a easy turn on kind of girl..But only by him..I love my husband and love being close to him.. I think we need to speak with a Dr. on both sides of the fence before any thing is done.. Plus to get him check out i think

You would think that if he doesn't want anymore and he gets fixed, it would better your sex life because then he won't have to worry about getting you pregnant.

When DD was born we met a couple that just had triplets. They already had 4 kids AND her tubes were tied (before she got pregnant).

Sorry Oklahoma country girl here,,A lot of people use that saying a lot when it either people or animals .. My husband wants for me to not be able to get pregnant anymore.. He does not want anymore kids..I still do.. I can not use BC do to medical reasons that even my dr doesn't understand..I have tried many kinds and still have not been able to take or use the pill shot patch..you name it my body has been through it..I honestly want no more part in it

Please make sure you really want to have a tubal ligation before you have it done. My ex husband didn't want any more children but I did. I felt pressured to do it so I did and I regretted it. After 18 years of marriage we divorced and I got married to my wonderful second husband. We decided for me to have a tubal reversal and try to have more children. We were one of the luck ones and it worked. Not everyone gets as luck as we are. A reversal doesn't always work and it is expensive. I am currently pregnant with my 5th child ( 2nd with my new husband) and we have decided that he will be the one to get "fixed" after this one is born. I still regret I let my ex husband pressure me into having a tubal ligation at the age of 22. Just please be sure it's something you really want and something you can live with. Thank you all for you help..I have come down to the both of us sitting down with a dr and talk it through. I am pretty head strong on not getting Fixed.. I would rather the both of us together talk with some one who knows what they are doing.
