My SIL had her C-Section date at around 4 months.

Have you considered trying for a VBAC? You don't necessarily have to have another surgery.

My 1st scheduled c-section, I knew the date 3 or 4 months in advance. With my 2nd scheduled c-section, the policy was to set the date 8 weeks before the date.

Eh not always, my friend had no idea until she asked me about it. I felt bad for her, and in the area we're in, few doctors will even suggest VBAC. I know of only one office that will do it.

Because there is alot of risk. I had and emergency csection and my OB said I could try for VBAC wigh my LO (whos now 1) but if I'm in the middle of labor and have to go in for another csection I'm at a higher risk of infection, it's a lot on not only the mother but the doctor and the hospital itself, sometimes it's not worth it so a lot of doctors won't even bring if up

Actually, there has been studies showing that, as long as women are not high risk, that the risks of a VBAC are not as high as once thought. Many, many women can have a VBAC with no problems. It's just up to the woman to research her options and find a doctor who will accurately assess her risks.
