Hey Baby Gaga!

On November 24th 2012 at 2:08 in the morning my daughter Celenia-Jane Hull was brought into the world. She was born weighing 8lbs 11ozs her height was 21 and 3/4 inches. I gave birth naturally, besides being induced with pitosin, and I broke my pelvis in the process. Despite countless doctors telling me I should have a C-section. I figured if I decide that she is my one and only child then I would rather do it naturally to have had the experience.

The day of my induction was November 23rd I woke up at 5AM and packed my hospital bag. My mother picked my DSO and I up at his parents house. We got to the hospital at 5:30. I was told I couldn't eat throughout the induction after my mom offered me food. I was surprised, and really hungry. I was only given fluids and ice water. I didn't complain much, and I thought 'this isn't so bad...' Until I met Pitosin.

The contractions came to me weak at first, and I didn't say anything. Within two hours they were hurting enough for me to ask my mother for comfort. Instead of comforting me she told me 'You said you would do it naturally,' and laid back down on the couch. Nurses came in every few minutes to see if I had progressed, and by 10PM I was still dialated to only 2CM's. She really didn't want to come out... My obgyn came in at 11, and broke my water. Thats when the flooding pain comes. (At least thats what I called the pain that followed my water being broken.)

A few hours passed and the contractions got closer together gradually. They told me to push when I felt like it, and that the feeling would come naturally. It never did, so I did anyway. I could feel my bones slowly shifting as I pushed. I screamed in pain as the nurses told me I was doing such a good job. I could feel that something wasn't wrong, and no one would believe me. I was scared for myself, but more importantly my baby. No one listened, and after 30 minutes of pushing Celenia Jane Hull was born.
