Super itchy ..

So for the past couple days my belly and legs have been soo itchy, to the point I can hardly stand it. I feel like I'm gunna scratch the skin right off sometimes. It has me itching to the point my skin is red and burning .. Heelp..   Im 39 weeks btw .

Do you have a rash?

Google "PUPPS" I had it and it was horribly itchy.

There doesn't seem to be a rash no, just red from my itching ..

If you can get some, you could try chickweed healing salve. It does wonders for itchy skin.

I would mention it to your ob. There are a few things that can cause itchiness and they might want to check it out. Good luck! You are almost going to have a baby in your arms!  

It could just be itchy from the skin stretching. I used Palmer's Tummy Butter and it helped immensely with my itching.

Have you had any itching on your hands and feet? There is a condition called Obstetric cholestasis. The itching usually starts on the hands and feet but can be on the body as well. If you are worried about the itching then I would get it checked out.

It could be PUPPS, I had it at 33 weeks and when it first started it was itchy but there was no rash, the rash didn't show up for about 5-6 days after the itching started. Any dr or dermatologist will tell you the only cure for it is to deliver your baby but I'm living proof that that's not true. PUPPS is cause by toxins in your liver mixing with the hormones your body produces during pregnancy. It only makes sense that detoxing your liver will cure the PUPPS. An easy and SAFE way to detox you liver during pregnancy is to just start chugging low sodium V8! Drink at least 4 8oz glasses of it a day and it will disappear. after 3 days of drinking the V8 my PUPPS was completely gone, itch and all! Now I'm 38 weeks and not a single itch since then   In the mean time, stay out of hot showers and baths, and start using oatmeal soap. It'll make the itch more bearable until the V8 does it's job. Wow, thank you so much! I've also been having an itching problem for like every bit of 2 months now and I looked up Obstetric Cholestasis and it completely describes me! Never heard of it, but I'll definitely mention it to my OB when I go back monday! Thanks again!

Thank you! I do too. I got blood tests done for it on monday. I should get the reults back any day now.

Is it possibel to get on your chest?
I have a really bad looking rash on my chest, it's itchy but burns when i scratch it, also it feels cool moist/ slighty wet to the touch
