Update on questionable contractions.

So I posted a topic a few days ago about what I was experiencing trying to get some advice - here -
Heya, so here's me at 37 weeks. I've been having super contractions on the upper front part of my stomach that aren't painful. just uncomfortable. They are joined with nasty feeling nerve (I think) pain from my pelvis to theigh area. I have heard some people say this is what labor is like for them... Anyone have experience with this. I'm pretty positive it's normal so not too worried but this is my first so ?
Just for other people who are in the same boat - I went into my midwife and we found out that I'm 3-4cm dilated now and 60% effaced. I thought there was something odd feeling but since there was no pain I wasn't worried. SO who knows maybe we'll be popping soon.

Did your Midwife monitor you to see if they were actual contractions or BH? They sound like BH to me, but you never know. GL either way!

They sound like BH, labor contractions are unmistakable! Lol. But, I have heard of some women having contractions & not even feeling them. So it is very possible. 3-4 cm at 37 weeks is a very good thing! Especially being your first. I progressed well throughout my last few weeks (by my last appointment - 38 weeks - I was at almost 4 cm & fully thinned) & had my baby in 4 hours at 39 weeks. There really isn't a definite answer on when your LO will make his/her arrival, but seeing that you are progressing so well it should be soon!
