Can someone direct me to some homeschooling sites that I do not need to pay for or anything, that has tips on helping a child learn to read, for ages 10.
DD is 10 and still cant really read very well, she is in an ISP class and has a tutor for the past 4 yrs and she still does not get letter sounds or putting words together. She has basic reading skills that is pre-k to kindergarten and thats it.
Everything else academically is fine, its just reading skills.
Its hard and I am getting frustrated with it as well as she is, her 4 yr old sister reads at a grade 2-3 level (it just came easy to her) I want to help but she wont let me
Can be any site really, I have her on abcmouse.com as well as my 4 yr old, but the games are too young for her (being 10) that she just wont play it. kwim?
