Bath time

How often do you bath your newb?
LO will be 5 weeks this Saturday and I bath him every night before his last bottle. SO thinks he doesn't need a bath every day and can have one every second or third day.

They don't need baths everyday that young, because they don't get that dirty and it dries their skin. Every 3 days is perfect.

Well while i healed from my c section.. in a baby tub... after that it depended on my mood. but more than often i got into a shower with him and washed him standing up... ( he loved the water on his back) and i could hand him off to the husband so i could bathe. other times i kept the water shallow and used my legs to hold his head up and his body kinna float.

When my daughter was that little it was every 2-3 days. I was always told not to bathe them every day when they were so little. Now depending on how dirty she gets at dinner time it is every day or every other day and she is 14 months old.

With soap, every 2-3 days
with just water, as needed.

Soap everyday can be really bad for thier skin.

I mainly bath him everyday, coz its so hot here right now and he sweats heaps. Also he's a bit of a pig at feed time and has milk run down his cheek and it sits in the crease of his neck.

Every two days or so. I'd just wipe her down with a warm washcloth the other days.

I only bathe him in water because of this reason. I might use products maybe once or twice a week.

if it is just water then every day should be fine, unless his skin is really dry afterwards
