RSV?

My friend's son is 6 days older than my LO and they are almost 4 months old(mine just turned 16 weeks today hers turns 17 weeks tomorrow) This evening her LO was admitted into ICU at the hospital for RSV. He started having symptoms on Sunday about an hour and half before we left. He was tested yesterday came back negative tested again today and it came back positive. This past weekend we went and spent with her and her 3 kids. My LO has had a cough and on again off again runny nose for almost 2 months that the pedi doesn't know what's causing it. I was baby sitting her 3 kids for her so she could go to work so there were times I was holding both babies at the same time and I also had them both on me and they were babbling to each other smiling and they were about 6 inches away from each other. My question is what are the chances of my LO getting RSV from her LO?

I would take LO to another doctor and get a second opinion. Could be RSV or could be a common cold. I hope lo feels better soon.
