Period after stopping BC

When should you expect this (normally), I've read usually 4-6 weeks. If anything I usually am more likely to come on than not. I have fallen pregnant whilst on birth control pills, I have also started my period when my DD was 3 months old whilst exclusively breastfeeding. I also continued to have a period whilst on the arm implant and EVEN still got one when I was prescribed the BC pill and took this everyday to stop them. I had my implant removed a few months ago an went on the birth control pill as it seemed silly to be on both. From then I got the normal withdrawal bleed....

Soooo it is strange for me not to come on yet. All pg tests have been negative so far and I've had tender breasts for almost two weeks so assume I must have ovulated around then. When would you go to the doctor to find out what's up? Reason being I have just been offered a new job and would like to go back on the implant if I am not. Do you think the doctors would do a blood test because I want to know for definite before going back on contraception? I stopped the pill in the 28th so about 34 days ago.

doctors normally will do them if you ask...my last to babys i lost had to be confrim thur blood test cause it wasnt showing on their test but did on mine
