Ok ladies, WDYT?

I've come across some really cheap diapers from a lady who is selling locally
(her business has shut down and she needs to get rid of excess stock)

I can get 38 diapers for $6 (im in Australia and thats super CHEAP, cheaper then the most inexpensive brand you can buy in stores here)

My 21 month old fits the large size with room to grow (wont be potty training anytime soon) and my 4 month old fits the medium & large size.

Would it be a bad idea to buy 34 packs of large to use in the future?

They held an entire cup of water & were dry to the touch & fit both babies awesomely.. i've not used them over night yet & don't know if my 4 month old will break out in a rash from them..

Im planning to trial them for 2 days and then might order them.

good idea, even if you don't use them all on LO 1 you could use them for LO 2 when s/he is big enough. Id do it.

Hes broken out in a rash with almost every brand (we are currently spending $180-$200 every 2 1/2 weeks on his diapers alone because they are imported from japan & then shipped interstate for us!!)

I'd be SO happy if these work.. they're asian branded as well & seem to be amazing so far.

I am scared i wont use them all lol! Thats a good idea, i'd be able to sell them easily.

It works out to 1,292 diapers all up...

But thats only $200 worth and would last us AGES!

Hopefully I'll keep my fingers crossed forr you too! I love buying diapers in bulk because it gives us an extra $40-$60 a month to do whatever we want with.

Yeah exactly!

DH is totally on board with me & im so excited.

I've already got $200 set aside for the next order of diapers that i was meant to get from Japan but it only gave us 252 diapers and lasted me 2 1/2 weeks.

Thats a whole lot of money i was literally throwing away!

If our youngest breaks out in a rash i'll have to cloth diaper, i think i'll still get a bunch for our toddler anyway though  , they're too cheap to pass up!

And you can think of it as an investment, because even if LO2 can't wear them you can always resale them and get at least what you put into them back if not more. I think it's a good idea all around.

How many packs do you think i should get for our 21mo if our new baby can't wear them?.. (38 diapers in a pack)

I'm not sure what the average pting age is in Australia (I only say that because I've read some threads were things were done at much different agaes than the US). I'd try to get enough to get LO 1 up to pting age. Or as close to it as possible.

never hurts to stock up, I think.

worst case scenario, you could try and resell them.
