posted 31st Jan
Tonight i am trying to get Johnathan to sleep back in his crib..
He will only sleep comfortably ALONE IN HIS CRIB if he's asleep on his belly   i'm so tired & i have work at 12, i am afraid to fall asleep & something happening.

Go for it. Just make sure there are no blankets or anything else in the crib with him.

I wouldn't worry. I think he should have plenty of strength by now.

How old? and can he roll over? or at least push up and move his head? DS is more of a side sleeper but he will from time to time only want to sleep on his tummy (thankfully that's always been during the day when I can constantly check on him)

*fingers crossed* I am hoping for a good night's rest of no kicking of my ribs, screaming in my ear, scratching of the skin & punches in my face lol.. and a baby who now will HOPEFULLY sleep in his crib like a big boy.

He will be 4 months soon, cant roll over yet(i wish cause this would make things much easier).. but he is starting to push himself up sort of.

As long as he can move his head he should be fine... it is much easier once they can roll over... DS has a few times but he's always surprised himself when he has... he can't do it regularly yet but since he can lift his head enough I don't mind if he refuses to sleep only on his tummy every once and a while

Him rolling over won't make things more easier!....Just wait till he starts rolling over and your trying to change a poopie diaper or getting him dress!

You'll still worry and be up all night checking on him, cause that's the only way DS will sleep and I don't sleep a wink. I sometimes still get up to turn him back to his back or side!
