Usually when I'm no longer in the convo or just wanted to say a quick congrats.

Often. I get bored with threads and I hate when my subbed list is cluttered   I hate notifications

pretty much never, I just ignore it.
I have like... 3 pages of bolded, unread threads with new replies  

I unsub if people go off on tangents and have personal conversations that have nothing to do with the thread, but that's the only time.  

Only if it's to a point I have no more interest like its been going on for days and people are chatting.

when I am no longer interested in the conversation or there has been no replies for 5 or more days....

No longer part of the conversation or get bored.

I very rarely unsub. I only do it if it turns into a chat thread that is like crazzzzy boring but I keep forgetting and clicking on it anyways. And maybe if someone says something that bothers me but I don't feel like arguing, but I've probably done that like twice. I usually just ignore a thread if I don't want to post anymore
