C-SEC moms with other YOUNG kiddos.

like, toddler age 'n younger.

i have a question that i've just been stressed to pieces about

My daughter is 2.5, my son was 5 when she was born (via scheduled c-section) but by that age, it was no biggie to him to go hang with nana and papa at night time while i was there (i think for 4-5 days)

Well, now i have another scheduled c-sec coming up,
my daughter's had 2 nights away from me in her whole life,
we co-sleep, my boobs are her comfort, etc etc

Dude goes to work at 4-5am every day, so it doesn't make sense for the kid's to stay at home- so they'll be staying at my parents at night

And i'm just...not able to wrap my head around how it's going to work for my youngest.
Going from every night snuggling with me, to having to go 3-5, depending, not being able to do so- on top of dealing with the change of a new sibling.

I don't want new baby to suddenly = no more comfort.

So, if you can kinda see what i'm meaning,
advice? been here? gonna be here?

My two youngest sisters are like 16 months apart I think? And Amanda was a c-section. But my mom didn't co-sleep, but she did sah and was stuck in the hospital for 5 days due to complications (it was an emergency after a successful vbac)

Get her comfortable now! You've got two months, ask your parents if you guys can arrange for 1 night a week sleepovers or something so it's not SO new to her?

exactly. like, i know clara would live through one night. and i know my parents will make it super fun for the kids, so hopefully, it all just works out.

Between kid and dog I don't think my parents could handle 3-5 days. I was in for 4.5 total when I had Rory.
